This article by UN News provides a broader look at the environmental issue. Amina Mohammed, United Nations deputy security-general and expert, instructs the "UN, governments, private sector and civil society to work together in a more coordinated and integrated way" (Dpicampaigns, 2019) in order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (I.e. SDGs) agenda by 2030, which is slowly approaching. The SDGs are an agenda of 17 global goals with specific targets in each category, created by the UN. Some of the categories that directly correlate to the environment include: clean water and sanitation, affordable and clean energy, sustainable cities and communities, responsible consumption and production, climate action, life below water and life on land. At the ECOSOC (I.e. Economic and Social Council) Partnership Forum, Mohammed reminds the delegation of the importance of working together to solve these global issues. She stresses that "all stakeholders, big or small should find a place to play their role and make their contribution" (Dpicampaigns, 2019) as this is not an issue that can be resolved by one person, one organization or one government. A common message that has been communicated by ordinary campaigners, scientists, specialists and politicians.

    Hello Veronica! It is nice to see that United Nation is working on climate change issue. However, I believe the sustinable development goals are unrealistic. It is extremely difficult to work on all ecology related goals at one time. In my opinion, it would be more effective if goals would be accomplished step by step, but not all together.
